Daniel Andrew "Andy" Beal, born November 29, 1952, is an American who accumulated wealth in real estate and banking in Dallas. Beal is founder and chairman of Beal Bank and Beal Bank USA and has an estimated worth of $10.1 billion.

Beal is also known for being a mathematician. His banks also sponsor two annual science and technology fairs affiliated with the International Science & Engineering Fair. In 1997, Beal started an aerospace company, named Beal Aerospace, to build rockets with the aim of placing communications satellites in orbit. Facing competition from new NASA initiatives, Beal closed the company 3 years later.

In 2012, he decided to come back with the space program SkyExplorer. As one of the first who wanted to carry people throughout the universe, he recruited 6 qualified members to be part of the team that will achieve this project.
