SKY EXPLORER

TEchnical information

SkyExplorer company owns two spaceships named “SkyWalker I” and “Millennium Falcon II”. They share the same technical characteristics : all devices and equipment are similar. Each spacecraft weigh approximately 5600 t on the ground and about 430 t in a vacuum.

SkyExplorer chose the best technology to develop its spaceships. Both of them are fitted with fifteen VULCAIN 2 motors, the same that were implanted in Ariane rockets. This kind of thrusters individually weigh 2 t and have a 1350 kN thrust power capacity. These are cryogenic systems that make use of a liquid hydrogen and oxygen gas generator. Cryogenic fuel is the best propellant for rockets launching as gas combustion provides high levels of pulse output. But  SkyExplorer best innovation is a magnetic force field that protect our starships from meteors and asteroids.

In terms of materials, our spaceships are built with an innovative alloy of aluminium (50%), steel (10%), carbon (30%), Kevlan (5%) and glass (5%). This unique combination of lightweight components allows to combine solidness and aesthetic in an easy-to-handle structure.
